Removing your profile does not cancel your subscription membership! Your subscription can be cancelled without having your profiled removed, and your profile can be removed without your subscription being cancelled. So cancel your subscription, then decide if you want to remove your profile. 

Depending on your motivation for removing your profile, it may be helpful to know that you have the option to hide your profile on the site, unsubscribe from marketing blasts, and of course cancel your membership.  If you nevertheless want your profile removed, do know that you will need to fill out a new application and await approval before being able to activate it again.
